1. To offer the student about the importance of Mãgha Pujã Day
2. To offer the student about the events which happen on Mãgha Pujã Day
3. To offer the student the basic principles of Buddhism

Consequences:

1. The student can explain the importance of Mãgha Pujã Day.
2. The student has learned about the importance events which happen on the Mãgha Pujã Day.
3. The student has learned basic principles of the Buddhist teaching.

People in all parts of the world have their own ways of expressing thanks through ceremonies and festivals.  For example, here in America as the leaves turn color in the Fall, people look forward to celebrating Halloween and Thanksgiving.  At the same time, people in Thailand are looking forward to one of their own festivals of thanksgiving, the Loy Krathong Festival.

- 8 November, 2008 - Please join MBMC for MBMC 2008 Loy Krathong Festival party night at Knight of Columbus Hall 870 N. Main St. Clawson, MI 48017 at 6:00 PM to 12:00 AM. (Midnight)
